Endodontics

Endodontics

Endodontics is a necessary treatment when the pulp, commonly known as the nerve, becomes inflamed or infected. There are several causes of infection or inflammation: deep caries, trauma or fractures. If a root canal is not performed in time, the nerve can cause severe pain and even severe infection of the tissues surrounding the tooth.

This technique consists of removing the pulp, cleaning and preparing the inside of the tooth, to finally seal that space in a three-dimensional way, with a material known as gutta-percha.

It is a very laborious treatment to perform, because we are talking about very narrow gauge ducts and where sometimes the anatomy of the root makes its execution difficult.

Do not endanger the health of your mouth. Prevent the problem from going on and request your appointment now.
